Costume Ideas

After Denis's first lecture and learning how styling plays such an important role in film, Hayley and I went to Bluewater to get ideas for sourcing our costumes.
Lipsy's new collection consists of chiffon pretty dresses which would suit the gothic and 'pretty girly fairytale' alter ego of our character such as;





Hayley found this dress from Topshop which I think would love great layered over a mesh sheer top and customised with studding, making it more gothic but not keeping it literal & making it pretty;


I had the idea of having our character running through a forest at night time to correspond to our 'darkness' effect. Our character would be running through the forest in a white dress but then following a fast cut point and flash like effect she would be in her black clothing- giving the impression she is running from herself. Hayley found these images on google which I think demonstrate the idea well;
