Looking back on our storyboard, I think that our narrative has changed a great deal. I never got round to uploading my storyboard but it is in my research book...
Anyway, rather than having her lying in bed gazing at the music box.. our film shows her sitting infront of her mirror straight away. We also didn't include any footage of her in the forest in her 'black' outfit. We just felt that it wasn't necessary and that it is obvious to our audience that she has entered this fantasy world. Going over and over our film, myself and Hayley both think there is a strong link to 'Alice in the Looking Glass' (which we are also referring our film title too).
We didn't originally plan to use the mirror in the forest but I really like that we did. It makes our film seem all the more dream-like and abstract.- as if the mirror is pulling her into this separate world..
We have been editing non stop now.. I feel extremely proud of what myself and Hayley have achieved :) Its looking great, although the more we look at it the more we are beginning to resent it. I'm excited to have the final edit done soon. We're still unsure of what to call our film...
