With my housemate Rafaela Ricardo, I decided to take out The Cut from 2008 & 2009 from the library to know what had been done in past years. Geraldine had showed us a few in her first lecture but I wanted to watch more of them to get a better understanding of what is expected as we are preparing to film this week. I'm finding the time crunch quite stressful, particularly with the presentations just around the corner. Anyway, I found the dvds helpful & it proved that, in my moment of despair, that it is actually possible to get this film done & to a good standard. I saw a few effects in various film that myself & Hayley were keen to use which made me realise we're not being unrealistic & aiming too high. I also rented the film Leon which I remember Geraldine suggested we watch.

Over this weekend we are shooting some footage to present next week. Hayley found a great music box in an old fashioned toy shop. We have decided to use my friend Jeanette to model for us. I think she'll be great as shes really outgoing & not in the least bit camera shy. She has modelled for me a few times in college, is extremely photogenic & has the general child-like soft look we were hoping for..
